I love radio. I always have and I always will. I grew up listening to John Sterling disrupt my adolescent REM cycle. WBGO 88.3 FM was the soundtrack of many childhood weekends as I learned the fundamentals of soul from the iconic Felix Hernandez. And here are a few of my favorite radio spots.

NB: Not only was I the voice hailing the cab in “Cabbie,” but I also subjected the talent to an endless number of appetizing outtakes before the creative team agreed on “bacon wrapped scallops with a honey glaze.” Two of which are included below.
